Why I was MIA...

The last time I told you about our journey of trying to add to our family
I was heading off for the egg retrieval.
That all went well but other events have been a little painful.
I stopped blogging because I wasn't sure what to say.
I'll fill you in on the details in the next few entries.

Yesterday...

Yesterday.

I ran into Miss Wilde,

Miss Wilde is the best.

I'll tell you a story about Miss Wilde.

Not one where Miss Wilde lives up to her name,

But one that involved me.

The Fun...

The beautiful...

MISS WILDE!!!!!!

Ok, so I told you the other day about my first date with Ronnie: what I didn't tell you was what happened just before I actually met him. Ronnie had just called to say he was a few minutes away from our apartment building. No longer had I hung up the phone when Miss Wilde came out of her room and told me she had a dream. Miss Wilde dreamt that the person I was going on the blind date was big, red and hairy - I pictured a ginger santa type figure in a navy blue workmans singlet. But worse than that, Miss Wilde said, he was really horrible to me. Oh crap, he is just downstairs now!!!!

07 Feb - We Became a Family Today.

I suppose every bride says their wedding was beautiful.
Mine was for me, for us!
It was everything we wanted,
Family, friends and fun in a relaxed atmosphere.

We did have some speeches planned.
There were also some spontaneous ones.
One nephew shared his observations,
And my neice shared her creativity.
Here is the speech delivered by that creative neice.

Netty, Netty, Netty,
She likes spaghetti.
Netty, Netty, Netty,
Can't have spaghetti.
Netty, Netty, Netty,
I love you
Especially when you laugh at your poo!
Netty, Netty, Netty,
You look so pretty.

Just so you know, I don't think I have ever laughed at my poo. I did laugh at the poem though!!!!
Thanks for inspiring the creativity Aims. A little plagarism maybe!!!

A Blind Date....

It all started with a flight in one of these.

(Pst...this is not the actual plane. I have no idea what the actual one was but I do remember that is was about the same size as this plane and I am pretty sure it was red and white).

And continued with lunch here...Harrigans Irish Pub

(I wish I had some better pictures to show you.

Click on the link for some better pictures).

The day ended.

But the romance did not...

Therapy Needed!

I am feeling a little down and sorry for myself today.
Today? I mean this week.

I started writing our story and found it was helping.
Helping? I mean it was theraputic.

So I will begin to share my therapy.
Therapy? I mean stay tuned for our story.

Tomorrow I will start with how I met my handsome husband.
Handsome husband? I mean Ronnie.
